What actually happens when you land
Written out in order, because the part people worry about is not the drive.
- 01
Before you fly
You will have your driver's name and a WhatsApp thread with us. Nothing about the arrival is left to be worked out on the day, and the price you agreed is the price. If your children need seats, tell us their ages at booking and the right baby or booster seat is fitted in the car before you land, free.
- 02
Wheels down at Agadir Al Massira
We track your flight in real time. If you are two hours late, we already know, and we move the pick-up ourselves. A delay is our problem, not yours. Sixty minutes of free waiting is included from the moment you land, measured from the actual landing, not from the time on your ticket.
- 03
Passport control
This is usually the slowest part of arriving, and it is entirely outside anyone’s control. There is nothing to do here except join the queue. Your driver is not counting the minutes and there is nothing you need to send us.
- 04
Baggage reclaim
Collect everything, including oversized items. Boards, buggies, golf bags and cots all come off separately from the main belt, so it is worth a second look before you head for the exit.
- 05
Walking out into arrivals
Here is the bit everyone has read the forum threads about. You will walk out into a busy hall and several people will offer you a taxi. You do not need to talk to any of them, and you do not need to be rude about it either. Your driver is standing in that hall holding a printed board with your name on it. Look for the board, not for a person. If you cannot see it within a minute or two, stop walking, open WhatsApp and message us, and we will tell you exactly where he is standing. That is a normal message to send and we get them every week.
- 06
The car
Modern, air conditioned, clean, and it is yours alone. Nobody else is sharing it, and the driver is not picking anyone else up on the way. He takes the bags. Your children’s seats are already fitted. There is bottled water.
- 07
The drive
470 km, around 5h 30min, almost all of it on the motorway: north through the hills from Agadir, skirting Marrakech, then on past Settat and Berrechid to Casablanca. This is a long day in a car and we will not pretend otherwise, so it is one vehicle, no changes, air conditioning throughout and a rest stop on the way. The slowest part is often the end, in Casablanca traffic.
- 08
Arriving
To the exact address you gave us: a hotel in the centre or on the Corniche, an office in Maarif or Casablanca Finance City, or the entrance of Casa-Voyageurs if you are catching an Al Boraq train north. If you are connecting to a train or a flight, book with a generous margin, because the drive, the rest stop and Casablanca traffic all have to fit before your departure. Mohammed V airport is not in the city: it is at Nouaceur, about 30 km south of the centre, so tell us the exact address, including if it is the airport, and we confirm it at booking.
- 09
Paying, and the return leg
You pay at the end, cash in euros or dirham, or you paid online in advance. You do not need to have found an ATM to get out of the airport. If you booked the return at the same time, we confirm the pick-up by message the evening before, including the early ones. A 05:00 departure for a 07:00 flight is normal work for us, not a favour, and you can go to sleep knowing it is confirmed.
Agadir to Casablanca Transfer
A private transfer from Agadir airport to Casablanca, about 470 km and around 5 hours 30 minutes, almost all of it on the motorway north. It suits travellers heading for an Al Boraq train at Casa-Voyageurs, a meeting in Morocco's business centre, or a family or group with luggage, because one fixed price covers the whole vehicle. A rest stop on the way is included, and your driver takes you to the exact address you give us.

Private transfer, grand taxi or bus
Three ways to do this journey, and the private transfer is not automatically the right one. Here is the honest comparison, including where the other two win.
| Private transfer (us) | Grand taxi, chartered for the whole trip | Coach (CTM direct, or Supratours to the train at Marrakech) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price basis | Per vehicle. One price covers the car and everyone in it, up to its capacity. Four people pay the same as one. | Per car if you take it privately, per seat if you share it and wait for it to fill. Which one you get depends on the conversation at the kerb. | Per person, every time. A family of five pays five fares. |
| Fixed price | Yes. From €250 for this route, agreed in writing before you travel. The number does not move for luggage, for a night arrival, or because you look like a tourist. | No. The fare is negotiated at the kerb before you get in, and it is on you to know what a fair number looks like. Agree it out loud, and agree whether it is for the car or per seat, before the boot opens. | Yes. Published fare, paid at the counter, no negotiation. This is the cheapest way to do this journey and we are not going to pretend otherwise. |
| Door to door | Yes. From Agadir Airport to the exact address you give us, including addresses that are a street name and a landmark rather than a number. | Usually yes, though the exact drop-off point can become part of the negotiation, and some drivers will stop short of narrow or unlit streets. | No. Station to station. You still have to solve the last leg from the terminal to your bed, with your bags, at whatever hour you arrive. |
| Journey time | 5h 30min for 470 km, direct, with a stop if you want one. | The same when you take the whole car. Longer if you share, because a shared grand taxi does not leave until every seat is sold. | Longer. Scheduled departure times, scheduled stops, and the wait at each end. |
| Night availability | Any hour, including pre-dawn departures, because it is booked in advance and the driver is already assigned to you. | Usually available at the rank, though supply thins out very late, and late at night is exactly when your negotiating position is at its worst. | Scheduled CTM departures, overnight ones included, leave from the coach station in Agadir rather than the airport. Check current timetables directly with the operator. |
| Luggage and surfboards | Included in the price. Capacity for passengers and bags is published on every vehicle row further up this page, so you can match your group before you book. Surfboards and board bags are carried. Tell us how many at booking and we will send the right vehicle. Pushchairs, travel cots and golf bags the same. | Depends entirely on the car that turns up and the driver's willingness. Oversized items are often a separate negotiation, and a board bag can be a flat refusal. | Hold space is limited and oversized items are at the operator's discretion. Boards are the item most likely to be turned away. |
| Flight tracking | Yes, in real time, on every airport pick-up. If your flight is late we move the pick-up, you do not. Sixty minutes of free waiting is included from the moment you land. | No. There is no booking to track. You find a car when you walk out, whenever that is. | No. The timetable does not know your flight is late. A missed departure is a wait for the next one. |
| Child seats | Baby and booster seats are free. Tell us your children's ages when you book and the right seat is fitted in the car before you land, not handed to you in the car park. | Grand taxis do not carry child seats, and you cannot rely on finding one that does. | None, and no way to fit your own. |
| Payment | Cash to the driver in euros or dirham, or card online in advance. You do not need to have found an ATM first. | Cash, in dirham, and you will need it in hand before you get in. Dirham is generally not obtainable outside Morocco. | Cash in dirham at the counter. |
When the other options are the better call
For one or two people with ordinary luggage, the CTM coach is far cheaper than we are, and a Royal Air Maroc flight from Agadir is quicker in the air, so either is a sensible choice. The private car makes sense when the arithmetic changes: a family or group splitting one fixed vehicle price, luggage that is awkward on a coach or a plane, or a departure time that suits you rather than a timetable. It also ends at a specific door, a hotel, an office or Casa-Voyageurs for an Al Boraq train north, with no taxi to find at the other end.
We would rather tell you that now than have you feel sold to afterwards.
The Luxe Standard
Every transfer includes our curated selection of premium amenities and safety protocols, ensuring your journey from Agadir Airport is as seamless as the destination.
Hotels and areas we cover in Casablanca
Fixed price, whichever of these you are going to. We price by area, not by property, so a hotel that is not named here is still covered at the same €250 for this route, and the driver still takes you to its door.
The city centre and the port
Hotels around the old medina, the port and the Art Deco centre, all with door drop-offs. City traffic can make the last few kilometres slow at rush hour.
Royal Mansour Casablanca · Sofitel Casablanca Tour Blanche · Hyatt Regency Casablanca · the Hassan II Mosque, on its promontory over the Atlantic
Casa-Voyageurs station
The terminus of the Al Boraq high-speed line north to Rabat, Kenitra and Tangier. We drop you at the station entrance, so leave a margin for city traffic before your train.
Casa-Voyageurs station
Maarif and the Twin Center
The modern commercial district around the Twin Center towers, with offices, shops and business hotels. Straightforward door drop-offs.
Kenzi Tower Hotel, in the Twin Center
Anfa, the Corniche and Ain Diab
The seafront side of the city, along the Boulevard de la Corniche between the Atlantic and the residential district of Anfa. Door drop-offs.
Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca
Casablanca Finance City
The business district built on the site of the former Anfa airport. Give us the building name and we take you to its entrance.
Not on the list? That is normal, there are hundreds of properties in Casablanca and this is not all of them. Send us the name, or a screenshot of your booking confirmation, on WhatsApp and we will confirm the price for your exact address before you pay anything. Apartments, villas and rentals with no formal address are routine work for us: a street name and a landmark is enough.
