Look for the board, not for a person. If you cannot see it within a minute or two, stop walking, open WhatsApp and message us, and we will tell you exactly where he is standing. That is a normal message to send and we get them every week.

Modern, air conditioned, clean, and it is yours alone. Nobody else is sharing it, and the driver is not picking anyone else up on the way. He takes the bags. Your children’s seats are already fitted. There is bottled water.

The drive
25 km, around 30 min on a straight run in, along the main road from the airport into the city. There is nothing complicated about this leg and it is the one everybody overpays for at the kerb. If you want to stop at a supermarket or a pharmacy on the way in, say so in the car. It costs nothing and it saves you going back out again once you have unpacked.

Arriving
To the door of your hotel, apartment or residence, at the reception entrance rather than the road outside. The big beach resorts have long driveways and more than one gate, and being dropped at the wrong one with cases is a genuinely annoying way to start a holiday, so we take you to the right one. If you are in an apartment with no formal address, a street name and a landmark is enough.

Paying, and the return leg
You pay at the end, cash in euros or dirham, or you paid online in advance. You do not need to have found an ATM to get out of the airport. If you booked the return at the same time, we confirm the pick-up by message the evening before, including the early ones. A 05:00 departure for a 07:00 flight is normal work for us, not a favour, and you can go to sleep knowing it is confirmed.

When the other options are the better call
