What actually happens when you land

Written out in order, because the part people worry about is not the drive.

  1. 01

    Before you fly

You will have your driver's name and a WhatsApp thread with us. Nothing about the arrival is left to be worked out on the day, and the price you agreed is the price. If your children need seats, tell us their ages at booking and the right baby or booster seat is fitted in the car before you land, free.

  2. 02

Wheels down at Agadir Al Massira

We track your flight in real time. If you are two hours late, we already know, and we move the pick-up ourselves. A delay is our problem, not yours. Sixty minutes of free waiting is included from the moment you land, measured from the actual landing, not from the time on your ticket.

  3. 03

    Passport control

This is usually the slowest part of arriving, and it is entirely outside anyone’s control. There is nothing to do here except join the queue. Your driver is not counting the minutes and there is nothing you need to send us.

  4. 04

    Baggage reclaim

Collect everything, including oversized items. Boards, buggies, golf bags and cots all come off separately from the main belt, so it is worth a second look before you head for the exit.

  5. 05

    Walking out into arrivals

Here is the bit everyone has read the forum threads about. You will walk out into a busy hall and several people will offer you a taxi. You do not need to talk to any of them, and you do not need to be rude about it either. Your driver is standing in that hall holding a printed board with your name on it. Look for the board, not for a person. If you cannot see it within a minute or two, stop walking, open WhatsApp and message us, and we will tell you exactly where he is standing. That is a normal message to send and we get them every week.

  6. 06

    The car

Modern, air conditioned, clean, and it is yours alone. Nobody else is sharing it, and the driver is not picking anyone else up on the way. He takes the bags. Your children’s seats are already fitted. There is bottled water.

  7. 07

    The drive

170 km, around 3h, the longest of our routes down this stretch of coast. The N1 to Tiznit is the slow part, a single carriageway through towns and roundabouts. After Tiznit the road heads down to the coast and follows it south past Mirleft and above Legzira into Sidi Ifni. Sea mist is common here and can slow the last part.

  8. 08

    Arriving

Sidi Ifni was laid out by the Spanish in the 1930s on a cliff top above the beach, in straight streets, so most addresses in town are an easy drop-off at the door. Hotels and surf houses sit along the cliff edge and by the beach below the town; tell us the property name so the driver heads straight for the right street rather than the main square. If you are bringing boards, mention how many at booking.

  9. 09

    Paying, and the return leg

You pay at the end, cash in euros or dirham, or you paid online in advance. You do not need to have found an ATM to get out of the airport. If you booked the return at the same time, we confirm the pick-up by message the evening before, including the early ones. A 05:00 departure for a 07:00 flight is normal work for us, not a favour, and you can go to sleep knowing it is confirmed.

Agadir to Sidi Ifni Transfer

Private transfer from Agadir Airport to Sidi Ifni, the former Spanish town on the cliffs of the southern Atlantic coast, handed back to Morocco in 1969, where many 1930s art deco buildings still stand. The drive is about 170 km and takes around 3 hours. Surfers come for the winter waves and paragliders for the cliffs along this coast. Your driver meets you in arrivals and takes you to the door, in town or by the beach.

Private transfer, grand taxi or bus

Three ways to do this journey, and the private transfer is not automatically the right one. Here is the honest comparison, including where the other two win.

Private transfer (us)Grand taxi, shared via Tiznit or hired wholeCoach (CTM runs a direct service from Agadir)
Price basisPer vehicle. One price covers the car and everyone in it, up to its capacity. Four people pay the same as one.Per car if you take it privately, per seat if you share it and wait for it to fill. Which one you get depends on the conversation at the kerb.Per person, every time. A family of five pays five fares.
Fixed priceYes. From €150 for this route, agreed in writing before you travel. The number does not move for luggage, for a night arrival, or because you look like a tourist.No. The fare is negotiated at the kerb before you get in, and it is on you to know what a fair number looks like. Agree it out loud, and agree whether it is for the car or per seat, before the boot opens.Yes. Published fare, paid at the counter, no negotiation. This is the cheapest way to do this journey and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Door to doorYes. From Agadir Airport to the exact address you give us, including addresses that are a street name and a landmark rather than a number.Usually yes, though the exact drop-off point can become part of the negotiation, and some drivers will stop short of narrow or unlit streets.No. Station to station. You still have to solve the last leg from the terminal to your bed, with your bags, at whatever hour you arrive.
Journey time3h for 170 km, direct, with a stop if you want one.The same when you take the whole car. Longer if you share, because a shared grand taxi does not leave until every seat is sold.Longer. Scheduled departure times, scheduled stops, and the wait at each end.
Night availabilityAny hour, including pre-dawn departures, because it is booked in advance and the driver is already assigned to you.Usually available at the rank, though supply thins out very late, and late at night is exactly when your negotiating position is at its worst. The direct coach has only a few departures and leaves from Agadir, not the airport. Otherwise it is a coach or shared taxi to Tiznit, then a local bus or taxi along the coast. Check current timetables directly with the operator.
Luggage and surfboardsIncluded in the price. Capacity for passengers and bags is published on every vehicle row further up this page, so you can match your group before you book. Surfboards and board bags are carried. Tell us how many at booking and we will send the right vehicle. Pushchairs, travel cots and golf bags the same.Depends entirely on the car that turns up and the driver's willingness. Oversized items are often a separate negotiation, and a board bag can be a flat refusal.Hold space is limited and oversized items are at the operator's discretion. Boards are the item most likely to be turned away.
Flight trackingYes, in real time, on every airport pick-up. If your flight is late we move the pick-up, you do not. Sixty minutes of free waiting is included from the moment you land.No. There is no booking to track. You find a car when you walk out, whenever that is.No. The timetable does not know your flight is late. A missed departure is a wait for the next one.
Child seatsBaby and booster seats are free. Tell us your children's ages when you book and the right seat is fitted in the car before you land, not handed to you in the car park.Grand taxis do not carry child seats, and you cannot rely on finding one that does.None, and no way to fit your own.
PaymentCash to the driver in euros or dirham, or card online in advance. You do not need to have found an ATM first.Cash, in dirham, and you will need it in hand before you get in. Dirham is generally not obtainable outside Morocco.Cash in dirham at the counter.

When the other options are the better call

Sidi Ifni has a direct coach from Agadir, and if its timing happens to fit your flight, it is the cheapest sensible way down. The catch is that timing: with few departures and a start in town rather than at the airport, a late or delayed landing can easily mean a night in Agadir or a chain of taxis through Tiznit. Three hours is also a long time in a shared taxi with luggage or boards. Our price is for the whole vehicle and fixed in advance, so a family or a group of surfers shares one fare and goes straight to the door.

We would rather tell you that now than have you feel sold to afterwards.

The Luxe Standard

Every transfer includes our curated selection of premium amenities and safety protocols, ensuring your journey from Agadir Airport is as seamless as the destination.

Hotels and areas we cover in Sidi Ifni

Fixed price, whichever of these you are going to. We price by area, not by property, so a hotel that is not named here is still covered at the same €150 for this route, and the driver still takes you to its door.

The Spanish-era centre

Straight streets laid out on the cliff top in the 1930s, with easy door drop-offs for most addresses.

Place Hassan II, the former Plaza de España · the ship-shaped former Spanish naval building on the cliff edge

The cliff edge and the seafront

Hotels and surf houses on the streets above the beach and by the sea below the town. Tell us the property name so the driver goes straight to the right street.

Logis la Marine, built in 1934 as lodgings for Spanish naval officers · Hôtel Aït Baâmrane · Ifni Surf

Legzira, to the north

About 10 km up the coast road, with its own route and price. Tell us at booking if you are staying there rather than in town.

Not on the list? That is normal, there are hundreds of properties in Sidi Ifni and this is not all of them. Send us the name, or a screenshot of your booking confirmation, on WhatsApp and we will confirm the price for your exact address before you pay anything. Apartments, villas and rentals with no formal address are routine work for us: a street name and a landmark is enough.

I first booked with Mohammed from Just Luxury Transfers back in 2024, and because his service was so good then, I knew I had to book him again for this trip with my family. This time, we rebooked him to take us absolutely everywhere, and he completely exceeded our expectations. He looked after us for our entire itinerary, driving us to everything from the vibrant local souk and the stunning mosque to our day out quad biking and exploring the canyon and beach. On top of that, Mohammed truly went above and beyond by taking us on unexpected little pit stops to show us incredible scenic views so we could get the full, authentic experience. He also recommended the most lovely restaurants and cafes for us to eat out at, which turned out to be absolute highlights of our trip. He is such a lovely, sweet guy so full of character, warmth, and local knowledge. As for the ride, his car was immaculate, sparkling clean, incredibly comfortable, and very well kept. You truly do get a genuine luxury experience from start to finish. We will definitely be booking with Mohammed again the next time we come back. Highly, highly recommended!

very positive experience. I used their services from Agadir airport to Legzira beach. Great communication. The driver was waiting in front of the airport with a sign with my name on. He was very nice, pleasant, communicative. I can really only recommend it.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! We used this company for two transfers in Agadir and everything was perfectly arranged. Our first trip was with Abdslam in a Skoda Superb – he was punctual, very professional, and the car was clean and comfortable. Our second trip was with Youssef in a Ford Tourneo, which was ideal for our family and luggage. He was also very friendly, helpful, and drove safely. Communication via WhatsApp (24/7!) was quick and easy, and both drivers made us feel comfortable throughout the journeys. Highly recommended – we would definitely use this service again!
