Agadir Airport Taxi Prices 2026: What You Will Actually Pay

Agadir Airport taxi prices in 2026: no meter at the rank, a common ask near €25 to the city, and fixed private transfers from €25 per vehicle.

There is no official fare for a taxi from Agadir Airport: the rank has no meter for tourists, so the price is agreed before you get in, and a common ask to the city is in the region of €25. Just Luxury Transfers charges a fixed price per vehicle, from €25 to Agadir city, agreed in advance, at any hour.

You have landed at Agadir Airport, the bags are on the belt, and the first decision of the trip is how to cover the 25 km into town. The honest answer to the price question is that nobody publishes a fare for the airport taxi rank. There is no meter for tourists and no tariff board to point at, so the price is whatever you and the driver agree before you get in. This guide sets out what people commonly pay, what a fixed-price private transfer costs from the same kerb, and when the plain taxi is the sensible choice.

We do airport pick-ups at Agadir Airport for a living, so we are not a neutral voice, and we will say so where it matters. We will also try to be useful if you take a taxi: what to settle first, what to ignore, and which numbers you will find online but cannot rely on. Our own prices are in euros, per vehicle, one way. Everything about taxis and apps is a range, because those prices move and the sources disagree.

How much is a taxi from Agadir Airport to the city centre?

There is no official fare to quote. The licensed taxis in the rank just outside arrivals have no meter for tourists and no published tariff, so the price is negotiated before you get in. A common ask for the run to the city centre sits in the region of €25. Opening quotes to tourists can be noticeably higher, especially at night.

You will see other numbers online, some lower and some a good deal higher, and they contradict each other. That is why we do not print an official fare on this page: any single figure would be a guess dressed up as a rule. Treat €25 as a reference point for the conversation at the car door, not a price you are entitled to, and check recent traveller reports if you want a fresher picture before you fly.

The road does not change with the car. It is about 25 km from the airport to the centre and about 30 minutes of driving. What changes between the options is whether you know the final price before you land, and whether anyone is waiting for you if the flight is late.

How the airport taxi rank works

The official taxis wait in a rank just outside the arrivals hall, and they are licensed, which is the reason to use the rank rather than accept a lift from someone who approaches you. The part that catches people out is the price. With no meter for tourists, the negotiation happens at the car door, straight after a flight, sometimes with a queue behind you and a driver who has done this many more times than you have.

If the opening number is far above the region of €25, you can say no and ask the next driver in the rank, or step aside and book a car on your phone. We cover the wider question in a separate piece on the safety of the airport taxi rank.

Settle these things before a bag goes into the boot:

  • The destination, by hotel name and area, so the driver is pricing the right journey
  • The price for the whole car, not per person
  • The currency, because dirham is a closed currency and you generally cannot buy it before you fly
  • Whether the price changes for luggage, the hour or a stop on the way
  • A number said out loud and agreed, not 'we will see when we arrive'

Private transfer prices from Agadir Airport

Our transfer prices are per vehicle, not per person, fixed before you travel and the same at any hour. There is no surcharge for a night arrival, for luggage or for surfboards. These are the fares from Agadir Airport, one way, in euros.

A sedan takes 1 to 3 passengers with 2 large bags, an SUV 1 to 4 with 3 large bags, and a van 1 to 7 with 4 large bags. The larger vehicles, a minivan, a minibus and a VIP car, are on the fleet page. For the most common run, the Agadir Airport to Agadir city page lists every size: €25 for a sedan, €30 for an SUV, €35 for a van, €40 for a minivan, €70 for a minibus and €100 for a VIP car.

Rows marked from show the sedan fare as a starting point, and larger vehicles are quoted on request. A round trip is two one-way fares. Every fare in one place, including the longer routes to Marrakech and Essaouira, is on our prices page.

At €25 for a sedan to Agadir city, our price sits close to the figure a taxi commonly asks, and we are not claiming to be cheaper at the rank. What you are buying is certainty. The number is agreed before you fly, the driver is waiting with your name on a board, and the price at 2am is the price at noon.

Petit taxis, the meter and getting around town

Agadir's orange petit taxis are metered, which is a different world from the airport rank. The catch is that they cannot leave city limits, so they cannot serve the airport, and you will not be able to use one for the run in. Once you are in town, they are the cheap and simple way to cover short distances. Ask for the 'compteur' as you get in, which means switch the meter on, and the fare follows what it shows.

A petit taxi takes up to three people, so a family of four with luggage will need two cars or a different plan. Our guide to getting around Agadir goes through the options once you are in the city.

Can you use Uber at Agadir Airport?

Uber launched in Agadir in July 2026, and inDrive is also active locally. What we cannot confirm is whether an app car is allowed to collect passengers at the airport kerb. We would rather tell you that than guess, because the answer matters if you are standing in arrivals with a phone and a low battery.

Check the app when you land, and do not build a tight connection around it. What an app does well is show a price before you book, which is the thing the taxi rank lacks. For a daytime solo traveller with one bag, it may be a perfectly reasonable option wherever it is allowed to pick up.

If you want the pick-up settled before you board, a pre-booked car does that. Ours comes with a driver in the arrivals hall holding a name board and with real-time flight tracking, so a delayed flight is our problem and not yours.

Taxi or pre-booked transfer: which one should you choose?

We will say it plainly: the airport taxi is a reasonable choice for some arrivals. If you are one or two people, landing in daylight, comfortable agreeing a price, with a hotel address in the city and normal luggage, a taxi at around €25 is a fair way to start the trip, and there is no need to book anything.

The balance moves toward booking ahead when any of these is true. You land at night and want the price settled while you are still on the plane. You are a group or a family and want one fixed price for the car, with baby or booster seats free on request. You are carrying surfboards or large bags. Or you are going beyond the city, to Taghazout, Tamraght or further, where a longer journey makes a negotiation at the kerb harder to judge.

Our airport transfer versus taxi comparison is the longer version of this section. The Agadir airport arrival guide covers what happens after you land, and the late-night arrival guide is the one to read if your flight gets in after dark.

Airport to Taghazout, Tamraght and the surf coast

The run up the coast is where a fixed price helps most, because the distance is longer and an opening quote is harder to judge. From Agadir Airport it is 45 km and about 50 minutes to Tamraght, and 50 km and about 55 minutes to Taghazout. A sedan is €35 to Tamraght and €40 to Taghazout, and a van is €45 and €50.

Because the price is per vehicle, groups pay less each. A van to Taghazout at €50 split seven ways is a little over 7 euros per person, and a sedan at €40 split three ways is just over 13 euros. The route pages for Agadir Airport to Taghazout and Agadir Airport to Tamraght list the fare for every vehicle size.

If you are already in the city rather than at the airport, the options and the fare are different, and there is a cheap public bus. That is covered in our Agadir to Taghazout bus and taxi guide.

What is included, and how to book

Every airport pick-up includes real-time flight tracking, a driver in the arrivals hall with a name board, and 60 minutes of free waiting counted from the actual landing, so a late flight or a slow baggage belt costs you nothing. The car has air conditioning and bottled water, and the drive is door to door. Baby and booster seats are free on request, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pick-up.

To book, use the website or message us on WhatsApp at +212 6 74 01 61 49 with your flight number, your hotel and the number of people and bags. Every website booking receives a booking voucher by email. You can pay by card online (a fee of 3.9% plus 30 cents applies to the online part), leave a 30% deposit online and pay the balance to the driver, or pay the driver in cash in euros or dirham.

We are the operator and not a reseller, based in Agadir and rated 5.0 on Google from 240 reviews. Our drivers speak English and French, and several also speak Spanish and German.
