Agadir Airport Transfers: Prices, Routes & How to Book a Private Car

An Agadir airport transfer is a pre-booked private car that meets you inside arrivals with your name on a board and drives you door to door for a fixed price agreed before you fly. What an Agadir airport transfer actually costs

Here are our published starting prices. Each one is for the whole vehicle, including your luggage and every passenger up to that vehicle's capacity. Larger vehicles cost a little more than the starting price on the same route, and each route page lists every vehicle tier so you can see the number before you give us anything.

Prices are the same in both directions, so a hotel to airport run on your last morning costs what the arrival cost. We only publish a distance and a drive time where we have measured the route ourselves, which is why some cells below are blank rather than approximated.

• The price you are quoted is the price you pay. There is no night surcharge, no meet and greet fee and no per bag charge on top.
• Excursions are priced differently, per person rather than per vehicle, from EUR 15 for the city tour up to EUR 70 for the buggy. If you are a group of six or more, ask us which model works out better for your day, because sometimes the honest answer is the per person ticket.

Per vehicle, not per person: the maths that changes the answer

This is the single most misread line in the whole market, and it is where most people mistakenly conclude a private car is a luxury. A shared shuttle advertises a price per head. Our price is for the car. The comparison only becomes fair once you divide.

Using our starting prices on the sedan tier, which carries up to three passengers with two large bags:

• Four or more people move up a vehicle tier, which costs more than the starting price but is still one price for the car, so the per head figure usually keeps falling rather than rising.
• If you are travelling alone, a private transfer is a genuine premium over a shared option and you should decide whether the certainty is worth it to you. If there are two or more of you, the gap narrows fast and often disappears.

Your options at Agadir Al Massira, compared honestly

We sell transfers, so treat the following as interested testimony and check it against anything else you read. That said, we would rather tell you when you do not need us than sell you a car you did not want.

A pre-booked private transfer is worth it when any of these are true: you land late at night, you are travelling with young children, you have a lot of luggage or sports equipment, you are going beyond the city to Taghazout, Taroudant, Essaouira or Marrakech, there are three or more of you, or the idea of negotiating a price at the kerb while jet lagged is the part of the trip you are dreading.

The taxi rank at the airport is a perfectly reasonable option in daylight, travelling light, going somewhere central, if you are comfortable agreeing a price before the boot opens and you have local currency on you. It is a negotiated fare rather than a posted one, which is exactly why the forum threads about it are so mixed. We are not going to publish a figure for it, because the numbers people report vary widely and we will not present an unverified one as fact.

Ride hailing apps have been reported as operating in Agadir since July 2026. For a short hop across town in daylight with hand luggage, an app is a sensible choice. We cannot confirm what app based services are permitted to do at the airport kerb specifically, so we will not claim it either way, and we would not plan a midnight arrival with four cases and a car seat around one.

A hotel car is often the most expensive option of all and is usually a subcontracted local driver anyway. If your hotel quotes you a price, compare it with the numbers in the table above before accepting.

Which vehicle you actually need

Most operators publish badges. What you actually need to know is whether your people, your cases and your pushchair fit in one car, because the failure mode people fear is arriving to find a vehicle that is too small and being split up at midnight.

These are our published capacities. Luggage counts refer to large hold bags. Hand luggage, a pushchair or a travel cot sit on top of that, and if you are close to the limit, message us with the exact list and we will tell you honestly which vehicle to take rather than sell you the smallest one that technically fits.

• A family of five with a pushchair and a travel cot needs a van tier, not an SUV, even though five people technically fit in some four passenger cars with a child on a lap. We will not do that.
• A group of eight with eight cases is a minibus, not two vans, if you want everyone to arrive together.
• Groups landing on two different flights can be handled as two pick-ups on one booking, with one person accountable for both.

The arrival, minute by minute

This is the part almost nobody writes down, and it is the part that removes the anxiety. Here is what happens after your wheels touch the runway at AGA.

• We track your flight in real time, so we already know whether you landed early, on time or two hours late. Your pick-up moves with the aircraft and you do not need to message us to tell us.

• We drive door to door, to the hotel entrance, the riad, the apartment or the surf camp, not to a nearby drop-off point.

Money: what to pay with, and when

The Moroccan dirham is a closed currency, which in practice means you generally cannot buy dirhams at home before you fly. That single fact is behind most of the arrival anxiety people describe, because it means arriving with no local cash and being pushed towards whatever rate is available at the airport at midnight.

You have two ways to pay us, and neither requires you to have dirhams in your pocket when you land. You can pay online by card through Stripe, or you can pay the driver in cash on the day in euros or in dirhams. Euros are genuinely accepted by us, which is not the same as saying euros are accepted everywhere in Morocco. A café or a souk stall may take them at a rate that suits them, so change money when you are rested rather than when you are desperate.

Free cancellation applies up to 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up. Cancellations inside 24 hours may incur a fee. That is our published policy and it is the same one we apply to ourselves.

Arriving with children

Baby seats and booster seats are free on request and are fitted in the vehicle before you land. You are not handed a seat at the kerb to install yourself, and there is no charge for them at any point.

Tell us your children's ages when you book, not just the number of children, because that is what determines whether you need an infant seat, a toddler seat or a booster. If you tell us at the last minute we will still try, but the seat is guaranteed when the ages are on the booking.

Two things that are worth saying plainly for parents. First, the price is for the vehicle, so a family of five is not multiplied by five. Second, if you want the driver to stop at a pharmacy or a supermarket on the way to the hotel for nappies, milk or water, ask. It is a normal request and it is a lot easier than heading back out at 11pm with a tired child.

Surfboards and the Taghazout corridor

The surf coast north of the airport is not one village. Taghazout, Tamraght, Aourir, Anza and Taghazout Bay are separate places with separate access, and a page that says only Taghazout leaves you guessing whether your address counts. Tell us the village and the street or the camp name and we will confirm the price for your exact drop-off before you pay anything.

Surfboards are accommodated in the larger vehicles at no extra charge. Boards do not change the price. What they do change is the vehicle you need, so send us the number of board bags and their lengths on WhatsApp and we will tell you which vehicle takes them along with your luggage. We would rather answer that in a message than have you arrive hoping.

The arithmetic here matters. Taghazout starts at EUR 40 for the car, so four surfers travelling together are paying EUR 10 each, boards included, dropped inside the village rather than on the main road above it. A wet, sandy board bag at the end of your trip is expected rather than a problem.

Delays, midnight landings and the 5am return

Every airport pick-up includes 60 minutes of free waiting, timed from when you land rather than from your scheduled arrival time. Because we track the flight, a delayed aircraft is our scheduling problem rather than your extra charge.

If passport control genuinely runs beyond that hour, message us. Nobody has ever been abandoned in the arrivals hall over a queue, and we would rather you had our number in your hand than a stopwatch.

Early departures are normal work, not a favour. A 05:00 pick-up for an 07:00 flight is a standard booking, including from the villages up the coast where nothing else is running at that hour, and we confirm the time by message the evening before so you can go to sleep instead of lying awake wondering. Book the return at the same time as the arrival if you can, because it is the leg people forget and then scramble for.
